Welcome to my site! I have been writing fiction for most of my life, and in the last 5 years have worked hard on my first novel, “The Ocean of Dust”. While I seek an agent, I’m working on my second novel, an urban fantasy that crosses dark magic with a smidgeon of humour. I hope you enjoy my blog, to which I endeavor to post on Sundays. The Ocean of Dust
Twelve-year-old Lissa is kidnapped by brigands and made an indentured servant on a ship travelling a waterless ocean of grey dust. She is a feisty, curious and intelligent girl who must quickly develop allies among a crew that seeks to trick, imprison or harm her. Battling a hurricane of adventures and dangers, she becomes determined to unravel a devious plot developing onboard. After the revelation that she possesses a rare talent linked to the dust ocean itself, only by mastering it, and using her bravery and quick thinking, can she save herself and her friends.
